Trying not to fall off the face of the earth

It's been a while since my last post, and I was afraid I was starting to go MIA again. Work has been keeping me busy this week, thank goodness. It's actually been quite steady at the bank. I like it better when it's busy and I don't have a lot of time to twiddle my thumbs. It's also been a short week with Independence Day interrupting business hours. I have this weekend off, so that's another bonus. I've also been busy after work helping with the grandparents and other stuff. I went to a cousin's house on Tuesday to get my hair trimmed. I've been growing it out to give to Locks of Love, but it has to be 10 inches or more before they will take it. Well my hair is 13 inches, but I'm letting it grow out just a bit more. When it is cut, my hair will have a lot of body and will bounce up shorter than the actual cut. I don't want it to be too short, so I'm waiting. Hopefully by the end of the summer it will be long enough to suit me. I've already got the new hair cut and highlights picked out.

Tonight I went to a cousin's baseball game. The team seems to be getting better, or the teams they play are worse. I haven't made up my mind which one is true. I've also been getting a box ready to mail my brother. I'm having trouble getting the DVD burned, but hopefully I will get that done tonight. I'm aiming to get it in the mail by Saturday if not sooner. I've also been catching up on talking to friends I haven't talked to in a while. I'm trying hard to keep up with everyone, but it can get challenging when we are spread out so much. Well there is no rest for the wicked, so I will write more soon.
